Job Title
• EEG Technician - Cardiac Neurophysiology

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Day shifts, Temporary assignment

Key Responsibilities
• Perform EEG procedures in an outpatient cardiac device clinic within a clinical neurophysiology lab.
• Assist with patient assessments related to heart failure, arrhythmia, ablations, cardioversions, and device interrogations.
• Ensure proper placement of electrodes using collodion, maintaining high-quality recording standards.
• Work scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., with a requirement to work 2 out of 4 holidays.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC electronic medical records, with recent EMR experience required.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including reliable transportation and vehicle readiness during winter months.

Required Qualifications
• AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications.
• REEGT (Registered EEG Technologist) certification at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of EEG unit experience, with pediatric experience approximately 50%.
• Proficiency in electrode placement using collodion.
• EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in outpatient neurophysiology or cardiac clinics.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Comfortable working with pediatric patients.
