Key Responsibilities
- Perform outpatient neurophysiology testing, including EEGs for adult and pediatric patients.
- Prepare patients and apply electrodes using collodion, ensuring accurate and quality recordings.
- Document test procedures and results accurately within the electronic medical record system.
- Assist with patient care in a cardiac device clinic setting, supporting procedures such as ablations, cardioversions, and device interrogations.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare providers to ensure proper diagnosis and patient safety.
- Cover 16-32 week assignment, with flexible scheduling including bi-weekly orientation sessions.
Required Qualifications
- AHA BLS certification.
- NIHSS certification.
- REEGT certification (must be current at time of submission).
- Minimum of 2 years of neurophysiology unit experience.
- Pediatric EEG experience, with approximately 50% of cases involving pediatric patients.
- Proficiency in electrode placement with collodion.
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in outpatient cardiac device clinics.
- Ability to work independently and handle a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Reliable transportation, with vehicle equipped for winter conditions (November–April).

Additional Information
- Travelers must work 2 out of 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day.

- Reliable transportation required; public transit is not available.
- Vehicles should be equipped for winter conditions during applicable months.
- No block scheduling; shifts are scheduled Sunday to Saturday, with orientations bi-weekly.
