Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care in the operating room for various surgical procedures including neuro, spine, ENT, hepatobiliary, abdominal organ transplants, and complex intra-abdominal surgeries
• Assist with patient preparation, monitoring, and post-operative care within the OR setting
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety during all procedures
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient outcomes
• Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs, including providing breaks and relief as necessary
• Attend on-call shifts after hours with prompt response times, ensuring coverage for emergent cases

Required Qualifications
• Valid state RN license, pending license accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of OR experience, with extensive background in Hepatobiliary, Whipple, and abdominal organ transplants
• Proficiency in complex neuro, spine, ENT, and intra-abdominal transplant surgeries
• BLS certification
• Ability to respond to on-call shifts within 45 minutes and work after hours with flexibility for rest periods following call shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in a high-acuity, Level Trauma, and magnet/refer facility
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating team needs
