Registered Nurse - ICU

Full-time, Contract, Night shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care in the ICU floating across various units including neuro, respiratory failure, cardiology, transplant, and overflow units.
• Administer medications, monitor patient vitals, manage ventilators, and perform IV starts and ICP assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care for high-acuity cases.
• Assist with patient stabilization and respond to emergencies in a fast-paced ICU environment.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and documentation requirements.
• Float to overflow PACU and other MS/Tele/PCU/Stepdown units as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience.
• Valid nursing license in the state of California.
• Must have PA Lines experience (hard stop required).
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH.
• Ability to pass EKG exam on first day of orientation.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Large hospital and transplant center experience.
• Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) certification.
• Experience in Level I Trauma settings and charge nurse responsibilities.
