Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient oncology nursing care to patients, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following all safety protocols.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment procedures and post-care needs.
- Document patient progress and clinical interventions accurately in electronic medical records.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and institutional guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Active KY Registered Nurse license
- BLS certification
- ONCC certification preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in oncology or outpatient oncology care
- EPIC electronic health record experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Knowledge of outpatient oncology procedures and treatments
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and patient education skills
