Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal intensive care patients in a busy NICU setting.
• Monitor and assess neonatal patients' conditions, implementing appropriate care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly.
• Respond rapidly to emergent situations and provide critical interventions as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU nursing experience.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Ability to work night shifts and weekends (minimum of 2 weekends per 4-week schedule).
• No on-call required.
• Willingness to float within scope to Women’s Services if necessary, though very rarely.
• Open to considering local candidates within a 25-mile radius, especially in urgent cases.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a high-acuity NICU.
• Flexibility to accommodate scheduling requests; while block scheduling cannot be guaranteed, efforts will be made to support such requests.
