Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER environment.
- Float between units as needed, covering various departments within the facility.
- Collaborate with medical staff to deliver patient-centered care efficiently.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Document patient information accurately using electronic health record systems.
- Assist in emergency procedures and maintain readiness for on-call duties.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Oregon (pending licensure acceptable).
- At least 2 years of ER nursing experience or willing to be a first-time ER nurse (NO 1st timers unless pending license).
- Ability to work night shifts and weekends per department needs.
- Willingness to work a block schedule with expected ratios of 1:4.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Short Term Acute Care setting.
- Familiarity with Epic charting system.
- Comfortable working in a high-volume emergency environment.
- Flexible and team-oriented attitude.
