Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and recovery.
- Monitor vital signs and assist with medical procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Educate patients on childbirth, postpartum recovery, and lactation.
- Offer emotional support to patients and their families throughout the labor and delivery process.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
- Current, valid RN license in the state of Colorado.
- Proven experience in labor and delivery or maternal-newborn nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM).
- Prior experience working night shifts in a hospital setting.
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
