Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units.
- Monitor patient vital signs, medication administration, and response to treatments.
- Recognize and respond to cardiac rhythms and emergencies promptly.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.
- Document clinical assessments and interventions accurately in patient records.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for prior to travel assignments.
- Recent 18 months of Medical/Surgical or Telemetry experience; travel experience is acceptable.
- Valid Ohio or Compact State nursing license.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working rotating day and night shifts.
- Familiarity with hospital electronic health record systems.
