Job Title
- Registered Nurse - ICU
Location
- Fort Defiance, AZ
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shift, with flexibility to work days, weekends, and holidays (excluding major holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized ICU nursing care to critically ill patients
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergent situations
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatments
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
- Facilitate patient and family education about care and treatment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience
- Charge Nurse experience preferred
- Valid and current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and Conscious Sedation certifications (can be obtained through the facility for a fee)
- Flexibility to adapt to changing staffing needs
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
