Key Responsibilities
• Assist in providing inpatient rehabilitation therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Implement treatment plans for patients in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Document patient progress accurately within the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient recovery and discharge planning.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and clean therapy environment.

Required Qualifications
• South Carolina PTA license
• BLS certification
• Inpatient rehab fieldwork or clinical experience (new grads with relevant fieldwork considered)
• Must have inpatient rehab experience in a hospital setting
• 1+ year of relevant experience preferred but not required

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in hospital-based inpatient rehab units
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Additional Details
• Shift: Days, 8:00am – 4:30pm, five days a week
• Possibly required to work one weekend per month, no on-call required, and holiday coverage may be necessary
• No float within scope to other units or facilities
• RTO requests must be included at application submission and will be considered based on facility needs
• Hurricane season (June to November): employees may be assigned to emergency response teams during this period
• The facility is non-remote, non-hybrid, and located within a 60-mile radius of Florence, SC; local candidates are not accepted for this position
• Hospital has 28 beds, free parking, and uses Epic for charting
