Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, dayshift (7AM-5PM, M-F, with potential for overtime)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures to support diagnostic processes.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, participate in quality assurance activities, and manage image processing and archiving systems.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols when handling radionuclides and pharmaceuticals.
- Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and complete exams efficiently to facilitate patient throughput.
- Assist colleagues and physicians to ensure a smooth work environment, demonstrating flexibility by working across shifts and locations.
- Support ongoing education and stay informed about technical and safety advancements within the scope of licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent.
- Nuclear Medicine Technology certification (ARRT or NMTCB).
- State licensure in Texas (MRT by TMBBLS).
- Basic computer proficiency.
- One (1) year of clinical nuclear medicine experience preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with PACS systems and downtime procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot medical imaging equipment effectively.
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards in nuclear medicine.
