  • Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, dayshift (7AM-5PM, M-F, with potential for overtime)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures to support diagnostic processes.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, participate in quality assurance activities, and manage image processing and archiving systems.
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols when handling radionuclides and pharmaceuticals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and complete exams efficiently to facilitate patient throughput.
  • Assist colleagues and physicians to ensure a smooth work environment, demonstrating flexibility by working across shifts and locations.
  • Support ongoing education and stay informed about technical and safety advancements within the scope of licensure.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent.
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology certification (ARRT or NMTCB).
  • State licensure in Texas (MRT by TMBBLS).
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • One (1) year of clinical nuclear medicine experience preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience with PACS systems and downtime procedures.
  • Ability to troubleshoot medical imaging equipment effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety and quality standards in nuclear medicine.
