- Full-time, temporary travel assignment
- Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced hospital ER setting.
- Monitor patient vitals and utilize medical equipment such as monitors, pumps, EKG, and US devices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and procedures per ER protocols.
- Document patient data accurately using Meditech EMR system.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations, including rapid infusion and bedside assessments.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia or active license in the US.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience.
- Current clinical skills in trauma and emergency procedures.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, high-pressure environment.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certification in ENPC and TNCC.
- Experience with Meditech 5.6 electronic medical record system.
- Familiarity with emergency protocols and equipment such as dynamap, US, and rapid infuser.
