Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, night shift, 12-hour shifts, rotating schedule (days, nights, or a combination)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients on the medical-surgical and telemetry units.
• Administer medications, including chemotherapy, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Perform specialized procedures such as brachytherapy, infusion therapy, and central line management.
• Interpret telemetry readings, identify dysrhythmias, and respond appropriately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in electronic health records (EPIC).
• Ensure infection control protocols are followed, maintaining patient safety and quality care.

Required Qualifications
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical or Telemetry nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation.
• Experience administering chemotherapy and managing IV therapies, including central lines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Oncology nursing experience, including chemotherapy administration.
• Certification from Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) in Chemotherapy.
• Familiarity with clinical trial procedures.
