Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit.
- Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, respond to emergencies, and assist with deliveries.
- Document patient information and care plans accurately using electronic charting systems.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active CA RN license.
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NRP.
- Valid LA Fire Card and CA state license.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant labor and delivery nursing experience.
- Ability to work night shifts and handle high-pressure situations.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a Magnet-designated hospital.
- Familiarity with Epic charting system.
- Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling and quickly respond to patient needs.
