- Full-time, temporary contract, nights shift, 26-32 weeks assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, specialized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe, efficient delivery processes.
- Document patient care accurately within the electronic medical record system.
- Adapt to a flexible schedule, including occasional day shifts and weekend coverage.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and protocols, including orientation requirements.
- Support high-risk obstetric patients in a large academic healthcare setting.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Vermont or current multi-state licensure.
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in high-risk Labor and Delivery nursing.
- Recent EPIC electronic medical record experience within the past 2 years.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and flexible scheduling as required.
- Reliable transportation, personal or rental vehicle, with all-season or snow tires in winter months.
- Employment history complete with facility details, with explanations for any gaps over 90 days.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a large academic hospital setting.
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred but not required if candidate has solid experience.
- Strong assessment and patient management skills in high-acuity obstetric care.
