Key Responsibilities

• Provide optimal patient care to individuals requiring medical-surgical and telemetry services.
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms, recognizing arrhythmias and other cardiac events.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio license or active Compact State RN license.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing prior to travel assignment.
• Recent 18 months of MS/Telemetry experience, including travel experience, is acceptable.
• Ability to work at least every other holiday.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Ability to quickly adapt to shift rotations and operational needs.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
