Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the Stepdown / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Float Pool settings.
- Float between units and potentially across multiple campuses, including specialized facilities.
- Manage patient conditions with acuity levels appropriate for the unit, ensuring safe and effective care.
- Perform IV starts, telehealth monitoring, and other nursing duties as required.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver comprehensive patient care within established protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active registered nurse (RN) license in Ohio or equivalent.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
- Proficiency in IV starts and telehealth technologies.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a stepdown, PCU, or IMC setting.
- Ability to adapt quickly to floating between units and campuses.
- Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
