Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown
Location: Dayton, OH
Schedule / Job Type: Nights, Contract (48-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), and Stepdown units.
• Manage targeted patient ratios of 1:4, with flexibility up to 1:5.
• Work with stable chronic ventilators and assist with IV starts as needed.
• Ensure compliance with EPIC documentation, BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
• Complete an online EKG tele competency assessment prior to assignment.
• Follow safety protocols, including N95 fitting or PAPR use on relevant units.
• Float within assigned units and campuses, supporting the nursing care team based on operational needs.
• Work every other weekend and holiday as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 1.5 years nursing experience, with some emergency or acute care experience preferred.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records.
• Proficiency with stable chronic ventilators.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
• Ability to pass an online EKG tele competency assessment.
• IV start experience preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma/critical care units.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to float across multiple campuses including Dayton, Centerville, and Englewood.
