Key Responsibilities

• Provide social work services in a low-acuity inpatient behavioral health setting, specializing in detox and crisis intervention.
• Conduct assessments and recovery planning for patients with mild anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Float to sister units as needed to cover absences and ensure continuous patient support.
• Maintain compliance with facility protocols and licensing requirements.

Required Qualifications

• NC State licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in hand at the time of submission.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience working in Federal/State/County health environments and psychiatric hospitals.
• Ability to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam required for all RNs and applicable staff in this setting.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a crisis center or behavioral health unit.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system.
• Previous experience in inpatient settings with detox and low-acuity patient populations.
• Flexibility to work on dayshift, Monday through Friday.
