Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and assess maternal and fetal well-being using AWHONN fetal heart monitoring standards.
- Assist with obstetric procedures and facilitate safe delivery experiences.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, including floating to medical-surgical, ICU, or ER units as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all certifications, licenses, and hospital policies, including EMR documentation in Epic.
- Support patient care with professionalism, safety, and attention to detail across various clinical scenarios.
Required Qualifications
- Active Montana nursing license or compact license.
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN fetal heart monitoring certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant labor and delivery experience.
- EMR experience, specifically with Epic.
- OB nursing experience with OR circulator background.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to floating assignments.
- All certifications and licenses must be active and on file at the time of submission.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a hospital setting within a 100-mile radius of Helena.
- Previous experience assisting in obstetric or surgical procedures.
- Flexibility to support other departments (MS, ICU, ER) with stable adult patients.
