Job Title

• Night shifts, full-time, 13-week contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in labor, delivery, postpartum, and antepartum units.
• Monitor fetal well-being and perform fetal monitoring as required.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes in a Level 1 Perinatal Center.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
• Be flexible with scheduling, including working weekends and holidays as needed.
• Work in different departments as necessary, including nursery and gynecology, within scope of practice.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York or proof of application with applied date (processing time is 6-8 weeks).
• Minimum of 1 year of recent labor and delivery and postpartum nursing experience.
• Certifications: AHA BLS, NRP (must submit), STABLE (preferred), AHA ACLS (preferred).
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records (within past 2 years).
• Competencies in CPR, ACLS, NRP, EMTALA, fetal monitoring, and scope-specific skills.
• Ability to work nursery alongside labor and delivery and postpartum patient care.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological patients.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and possibly every weekend if coverage is needed.
• Reliable transportation, personal or rental vehicle, with all-season or snow tires during winter months.
