Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit, including oncology, step-down, and heavy sickle cell cases.
• Administer chemotherapy and manage complex patient needs in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation, including skills checklists and references.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Nursys License Verification.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a medical-surgical specialty.
• Work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days.
• Skills checklist, references, and certification card.
• Chemo certification preferred.
• Ability to work full-time day shifts.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in oncology, step-down units, or heavy sickle cell care.
• Certification in chemotherapy administration.
• Strong assessment and patient management skills.
