Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients, including those requiring oncology, step-down, and sickle cell management.
• Administer chemotherapy and other specialized treatments as needed.
• Monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
• Gather and verify patient demographics, including badge-appropriate photos, for accurate records.
• Ensure all certifications and licenses are up-to-date and meet hospital requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid nursing license (Nursys verification preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical or related specialty.
• Chemo certification (preferred).
• Ability to provide a detailed work history with minimal employment gaps.
• Skills checklist, references, and certification verification required.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in oncology, step-down, or sickle cell units.
• Ability to work night shifts effectively.
• Strong emergency response skills and patient assessment abilities.
