Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical setting, including oncology, step-down, and sickle cell units.
• Administer chemotherapy and other treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor patient progress, respond to changes in condition, and coordinate with healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
• Comply with hospital policies, safety standards, and certification requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license (Nursys verification required).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant specialty area.
• Certification in chemotherapy preferred.
• Ability to work full-time on day shifts.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with oncology, step-down units, or sickle cell care.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
