• Full-time, Night shift (12-hour nights)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetrical patients, including high-risk antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
• Monitor and manage obstetrical patients with diagnoses from 16 weeks gestation onward, including high-risk cases
• Perform routine outpatient procedures such as fetal surveillance, IV hydration, and medication administration in a triage setting
• Lead or assist with scheduled and unscheduled Cesarean Births and rescue cervical cerclage procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication using systems like Epic and PYXIS
• Collaborate closely with the care team in a high-acuity, fast-paced maternity unit

Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license in relevant state or compact license
• BCLS, AWHONN Intermediate, and NRP certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience, with preference for 3+ years, especially in high-volume, high-acuity units
• Experience in circulating in OR settings preferred
• Competent in sterile vaginal exams and immediate newborn care

Preferred Experience / Skills
• First-time traveler candidates accepted if they have experience in large or high-volume maternity units
• Ability to circulate and work in a high-pressure environment
• Familiarity with hospital systems such as EPIC and PYXIS

Additional Details
• Unit accepts 13–26 week contracts, with potentially flexible schedules based on unit needs
• RTO (Release Time Off) is restricted to a maximum of 7 days; no working out onsite or after booking unless approved
• No Overtime until after 48 hours worked; float required as needed
• Weekend shifts required every other week, with a minimum of 6 shifts within a 6-week schedule
• Effective communication and adherence to safety protocols essential in this busy, high-acuity setting
