Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide post-procedure recovery care in a Level Trauma hospital setting.
- Assist with cardiology procedures such as TEE, loop recorder implant, and cardioversion, including documentation and patient education.
- Monitor and recover patients post-procedure, ensuring safe discharge or transport to inpatient units.
- Collaborate with anesthesia and procedural teams to deliver high-quality care.
- Follow protocols for procedural sedation, patient safety, and charting in EPIC EMR.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of RN experience, with recent PACU experience preferred.
- Valid state RN license or eligible for pending licensure within 7 days.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Ability to float within scope and within service line as needed.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with cardiology procedures such as TEE, loop recorder implantation, and cardioversion.
- Familiarity with procedural sedation protocols.
