• Full-time, contract, 26 weeks, travel RN, day shift, onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical and Telemetry setting, including managing post-op ortho trauma surgeries.
• Administer blood products, wound vacs, CPMs, and other orthopedic trauma care as needed.
• Float between units based on staffing needs, supporting various departments within the hospital.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Follow hospital protocols, dress code, and safety procedures.
• Maintain documentation and accurate patient records throughout shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, especially with orthotrauma care.
• Knowledge of blood administration, wound management, and post-op orthopedic procedures.
• Ability to work day shifts, weekends, and adapt to unit float.
• BLS certification required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in Level II Trauma Centers.
• Familiarity with hospital protocols for post-operative orthopedic trauma care.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-volume environment.
