Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in providing rehabilitative care to patients.
• Implement treatment plans prescribed by the supervising therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses to therapy.
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment prior to sessions.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and home programs.
• Follow all safety protocols and healthcare regulations during patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Prior experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and patient care standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in outpatient or inpatient rehabilitation settings.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• CPR and BLS certification.
