Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and patient-centered care in the Emergency Department.
• Conduct thorough assessments and maintain clear communication with patients and team members.
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently using hospital computer systems.
• Respond swiftly and effectively in emergency situations, acting with independence and professionalism.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and support the organization’s mission, vision, and values.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Maine or the ability to obtain one.
• Excellent assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to function independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills.
• Ability to work night shift hours.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in Emergency Room or acute care settings preferred.
• BLS/ACLS certification required or able to obtain.
