Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Rotate shifts (7 PM - 7:30 AM / 7 AM - 7:30 PM), Days shift available
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients in a hospital setting
- Monitor patient conditions, including ECG rhythm recognition and vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments following hospital protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records
- Assist during emergencies and ensure patient safety and comfort
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing prior to travel assignments
- 18 months of recent Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience (travel experience is acceptable)
- Active Ohio license or valid Compact State license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Ability to work at least every other holiday
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment with acceptable scores during orientation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Ability to adapt to variable shift rotations as operational needs require
- Comfortable with electronic documentation systems (e.g., Lotus via Qualivis)
