Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized technical support in the cath lab and electrophysiology (EP) settings.
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
- Ensure proper use and calibration of equipment during procedures.
- Support patient care and safety throughout procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures in electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to deliver quality patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Radiologic or Cardiovascular Technician certification (e.g., RCIS/CCIS).
- State licensure in South Carolina prior to start date.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in cath lab or cardiology procedures.
- Ability to work in an EP (electrophysiology) environment.
- Availability to call for low STEMI call, every 3rd week.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a magnet or major teaching hospital setting.
- Familiarity with EP procedures and equipment.
- Experience with EPIC electronic charting system.
