Registered Nurse - Psychiatric

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Psych Services department, following the nursing process.
- Develop, update, and evaluate individualized, interdisciplinary care plans for patients.
- Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate resources and support patient recovery.
- Maintain compliance with all safety and healthcare protocols relevant to psychiatric care.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid State of Maine RN license.
- BLS certification.
- At least 1 year of previous experience in mental health nursing.
- Associate degree in nursing (ADN) or higher.
- Current CPI training prior to start date.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience working in a behavioral healthcare or psychiatric facility.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong team collaboration abilities.
- Ability to manage stress effectively and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Flexibility to provide coverage around the clock, including overnight shifts.

Note: Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered. Local travelers will receive a $10/hr lower local rate. Previous employees of the facility are not eligible.
