Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location: Springfield, IL

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shifts (3x12 schedule with 1845-0715 start; 4x12s alternative if preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in a Level I Trauma Center within the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units
• Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms, managing dysrhythmias
• Administer IV therapies, including blood products, central lines, and medication infusions
• Conduct post-procedure care such as after cardiac angiograms, surgeries, and other interventions
• Manage neuro cases including strokes, neurosurgery, and traumatic brain injuries
• Support respiratory needs for ventilated patients and manage airway devices

Required Qualifications:

• Valid active Illinois nursing license
• Minimum 1 year adult telemetry or stepdown experience
• BLS and NIH certifications required; ACLS preferred
• Strong cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills
• Experience with invasive procedures and post-procedure patient management

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Telemetry, neuro, cardiac, and trauma care experience
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system
• Experience in teaching or Level I trauma hospital settings
