Key Responsibilities

• Provide adult critical care respiratory therapy services in a teaching hospital setting.
• Manage and monitor patients with complex cardiovascular and respiratory conditions, including post-op cardiac and thoracic surgery, heart and lung transplants, and complex cardiac patients.
• Utilize advanced equipment and charting systems within scope, including ECMO, IABP, and Impella support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care in ICU and step-down units.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, equipment protocols, and patient safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of adult critical care respiratory therapy experience.
• NBRC RRT certification and SC Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Must hold an active SC license at the time of start.
• Ability to work 3x12-hour shifts with holiday requirements; every other weekend work.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with complex cardiovascular and surgical ICU patients.
• Familiarity with advanced life support equipment and procedures.
