Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical
Location: Wichita, KS
Schedule / Job Type: Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shifts (7 PM – 7 AM)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical-surgical patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Administer chemotherapy and other medications following strict protocols.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient treatment plans.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes promptly, including q8h assessments.
- Use Meditech electronic charting system for documentation.
- Support patients in remote telehealth settings with regular vital sign checks (q4h).
Required Qualifications:
- Valid RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of med-surg experience.
- Experience with chemotherapy administration.
- Certified in chemotherapy and ACLS (preferred).
- Strong team player with a positive attitude.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Oncology care experience.
- Chemotherapy certification.
- ACLS certification.
