Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Full-time, rotating night/day shifts (3x12-hour shifts)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care (IMC)/Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Stepdown units
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including cardiac rhythms and vital signs
- Administer medications accurately and safely, adhering to physician orders and hospital protocols
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and collaborate with healthcare team members
- Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records
- Support patient education and discharge planning
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in a cardiac stepdown, IMC, or PCU setting prior to travel
- Valid Ohio license or compact state license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIH stroke certification required
- Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Recent travel or agency experience in acute care or stepdown units
- Knowledge of ICU protocols and procedures
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
