Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Location: Columbus, OH

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Nights, 13-16 week assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology and medical surgical patients on night shift
• Monitor patients continuously using B450 monitors and GE telemetry systems
• Administer diagnostics, chemotherapy, and symptom management for patients with soft tissue malignancies
• Manage patient symptoms related to disease progression and treatment
• Ensure infection prevention protocols and patient fall prevention measures are followed
• Assist with procedures such as port access, arterial line management, blood product administration, and chest tube management

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• BCLS certification
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and ABGs
• Skilled in accessing ports, managing arterial lines, PICC lines, and central lines
• Proficiency in IV starts, chest tube insertion/removal, and high-flow nasal cannula therapy
• Experience with high-acuity patient care and float within units of similar or lower level

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Oncology experience (not required but preferred)
• Familiarity with Stryker beds and Alaris pumps
