Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, days shift, 3x12-hour rotations (7am-7:30pm / 7pm-7:30am), rotating shifts as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nurse care in a busy Medical Surgical and Telemetry unit at a major hospital.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to changes promptly and effectively.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during all aspects of care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the Medical Surgical or Telemetry specialty prior to travel assignments.
• 18 months of recent MS/Telemetry experience, including travel experience, is acceptable.
• Ohio license or valid compact state license in hand.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Ability to work at least every other holiday.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in large hospital settings or teaching hospitals.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
