Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to telemetry patients, monitoring cardiac rhythms and patient condition.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and manage various drains and medical devices.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Kansas or the ability to acquire one.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- At least 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or critical care setting.
- Knowledge of medication drips, central lines, and heart cath recovery procedures.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac patient care.
- Familiarity with Meditech electronic health record system.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
