Key Responsibilities
- Provide age-specific, direct patient care in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting.
- Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Follow departmental and specialty-specific standards of patient care.
- Assume leadership responsibilities, including delegating tasks to healthcare team members.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal healthcare regulations and policies.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Vermont.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification.
- Ability to work night shift hours.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry unit.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
