Full-time, 11AM – 11PM (Days)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to ER patients, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Manage a variety of clinical cases, from routine to complex, such as strokes, STEMIs, traumas, post-surgical complications, pregnancy issues, pediatrics, and behavioral health.
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about their condition and care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of New Mexico or a compact license.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications from AHA.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in emergency or similar clinical settings.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate clinical competence.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Experience handling trauma, stroke, STEMI, and pediatric cases a plus.
