Job Title
• Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

• Cambridge, MA

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, contract, rotating shifts (days/nights), 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to women during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum period
• Adhere to AWHONN standards for perinatal nursing practice, ensuring safe nurse-to-patient ratios
• Monitor and manage labor and delivery processes, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes for mothers and newborns
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based care and support patient needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all hospital and regulatory standards
• Follow all hospital policies to ensure patient safety and quality care delivery

Required Qualifications
• Valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS (AHA), NRP, and AWHONN certifications required prior to start date
• Minimum of 6 months of recent Labor & Delivery experience within the last 6 months
• Ability to work rotating shifts (days/nights) and adapt to variable schedules
• Demonstrated understanding of perinatal nursing standards and protocols

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience working in a large hospital setting with a focus on maternal health
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
