Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, travel, night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement patient care tailored to the specific age group served on the assigned unit.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, safe, and efficient care in accordance with unit standards.
- Demonstrate professionalism and respect when interacting with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
- Maintain clinical proficiency and adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
- Support the mission and goals of the department through effective work habits and clinical practice.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Current New Mexico RN license or valid compact state license.
- BLS certification (must be obtained within 2 weeks of hire).
- At least 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience.
- Knowledge of age-specific patient care and effective communication skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification (optional).
- Experience working in a fast-paced, acute care setting.
- Ability to handle emergency situations and physical demands of the role.
