Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to neuro-medical patients in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Monitor patient vitals and manage telemetry equipment to ensure patient stability.
• Administer medications and perform procedures such as Foley insertions and IV starts.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and execute patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and care activities accurately in the electronic medical record (Cerner).
• Maintain patient safety and uphold hospital policies and protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• ACLS and NIH certifications.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and neuro-medical patients.
• Ability to work effectively on a busy Med-Surg unit.
• Outgoing and self-motivated personality.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous neuro-related nursing experience.
• Familiarity with hospital standard equipment and procedures.
