• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, travel, night shift (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor cardiac and post-operative patient care in a stepdown environment.
• Perform bedside procedures such as cardioversion and medication titration.
• Utilize telemetry equipment to monitor patient heart rhythms and vital signs.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (Cerner).
• Respond to patient needs promptly and maintain a safe environment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent stepdown or progressive care experience.
• Experience with telemetry and titratable cardiac medications (e.g., nitroglycerine, Cardizem, amiodarone, dopamine, insulin drip, heparin).
• Ability to work nights and adapt to fast-paced, high-acuity settings.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with prostacyclins (Flolan, Veletri, Remodulin).
• Relief charge nurse experience.
• Strong team player with a flexible and positive attitude.
• Compassionate caregiver with excellent communication skills.
