Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity care to medically complex and critically ill patients in a fast-paced MICU setting
• Perform procedures such as bedside central and arterial line placements, chest tube insertions, rapid sequence intubation, thoracentesis, and manage codes blue emergencies
• Monitor and support patients requiring ventilatory support, including noninvasive and mechanical ventilation
• Collaborate with a high-functioning team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records systems

Required Qualifications

• Valid WA RN license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
• Experience caring for ventilated, post-CVL, cardiac arrest, organ failure, shock states, COVID, ARDS, DKA, and alcohol withdrawal patients
• Ability to float between units as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Level II Trauma Center
• Comfort with bedside procedures and managing complex medical cases
• Flexibility to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
