- Night shifts, 13-week contract, travel assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-acuity care to medically complex and critically ill patients in a fast-paced MICU setting
- Perform procedures such as bedside central and arterial line placements, chest tube insertions, rapid sequence intubation, thoracentesis, and manage codes blue emergencies
- Monitor and support patients requiring ventilatory support, including noninvasive and mechanical ventilation
- Collaborate with a high-functioning team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records systems
Required Qualifications
- Valid WA RN license
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
- Experience caring for ventilated, post-CVL, cardiac arrest, organ failure, shock states, COVID, ARDS, DKA, and alcohol withdrawal patients
- Ability to float between units as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Level II Trauma Center
- Comfort with bedside procedures and managing complex medical cases
- Flexibility to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment

Note: Candidates should be prepared to float to telemetry units if census requires. Most staffing needs are covered, but flexibility is essential.
