- Full-time, Day shift (typically 10 AM - 10 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency room patients in a hospital setting.
- Assess patient conditions, prioritize care, and implement treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient status, record observations, and update medical documentation accurately.
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations, demonstrating proficiency in urgent care procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia.
- Recent experience in emergency room or acute care nursing preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is a plus.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous ER nursing experience in a community hospital.
- Knowledge of emergency protocols and trauma care.
