Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing a variety of procedures including general, gynecological, urological, ENT, and vascular surgeries.
- Assist with robotic surgeries in GYN and general surgery, ensuring patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes.
- Prepare and maintain operating rooms, ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready for procedures.
- Utilize hospital systems such as EPIC EMR and Pyxis MedSystem for patient documentation and medication management.
- Support patients across all age groups, including adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
- Collaborate with surgical teams and support staff to ensure seamless patient flow and care delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin RN license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS preferred.
- Experience in general, gynecological, ENT, vascular, or related surgical areas.
- Robotic surgery experience in gynecology and general surgery is a plus.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with EPIC EMR system and Pyxis MedSystem.
- Strong background in perioperative nursing within a multi-specialty surgical environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume setting with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1.
