Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled ICU nursing care to critically ill patients, including vent management, drips, line placements, bronchs, and chest tubes.
- Utilize equipment such as Epic electronic charting, Pyxis medication system, GE Monitors, Stryker ICU beds, Caminos, and Maquet Booms.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and recovery.
- Follow established protocols for critical care procedures and documentation.
- Assist with bedside procedures and monitor patient status continuously.
- Float between ICU units and may support step-down or med-surg units as needed, including nearby facilities within 30-40 miles.
Required Qualifications
- Wisconsin RN license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years ICU experience.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, every other weekend and holiday.
- Team-oriented with the ability to adapt to floating within different units.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Preference for candidates with CCRN and TNCC certifications.
- Experience with ventilator management, line placements, and critical care equipment.
